It’s that time of year when despite what the weather forecaster says we feel the need to take a jacket out, just in case! So what type of jacket should we be carrying with us this season?
The rain proof jacket – for festival fun, we all need a mac! From the classics from Millets to the patterned from most high street stores there is something for everyone. We’ve kept it simple with this clear choice from Missguided for £20.
The Denim jacket – a wardrobe staple and a cut or dye whatever your taste. We love this light blue jacket from Gap. Priced at £54.95 but currently reduced to £32.99
Biker jacket – another staple! We’ve pushed the boat out and chosen a classic leather biker from All Saints. Priced at £328 there are cheaper and faux versions on the market, but we just love this one!
The Blazer – can smarten up any outfit for a work “business” look through to a simple blazer to throw on top of dress there are literally thousands to choose from. We have gone classic with this Ralph Lauren choice from John Lewis for £160.
The Bomber – from the traditional bomber to a cropped version, print, lace or silk there is a bomber whatever your style. We’ve gone old school Varsity style with this choice from Forever 21 for just £18!
The Trench coat – a classic and great for this time of year! We adore this Burberry trench coat priced at £1,295 it is a little (OK a lot) out of our price range, but a girl can dream!
The Duster coat – coming in sleeveless or side splits through to heavier fabrics to be more winter coat there are many different looks to this style, we’ve chosen a side split duster coat, from Boo Hoo for £25.
The Waterfall front – there are so many choices here soft pastels, Aztec prints, suede or leather. We love the detail of the neckline and the right one can go with any outfit. We chose a bold rust coloured jacket from New Look priced at £27.99.
The Kimono jacket – highly patterned lightweight, this look can make any outfit. Even if it’s sunny outside you won’t want to take this jacket off! We’ve chosen this kimono from Asos.com from River Island for £40.
The Parker – a lightweight version of a classic, we’ve chosen a khaki parka from Red Herring in Debenhams priced at £40.
