HOW DEEP WOULD YOU DIG TO KEEP YOUR SECRET BURIED?
Dorian Cook is a jaded film critic, haunted by a horrific act of violence that defined his impoverished childhood.   Only Dorian and two old school friends know what happened and who was to blame.
But now, thirty-five years later, someone is sending them threatening messages. Someone who seems to know the truth. As Dorian’s past invades his present, he is forced to step out of the shadows, protect his family and fight for his life.

The characters are well rounded and it was a good overall story; the parallel stories of childhood and adulthood were well written.  At first they seemed a little disjointed until the story became more visible. Good back story on the era of the 70’s, the author captured it well with some humour threading through the characters, brought back a lot of great memories. For a first attempt at this genre, I’d give it 3 stars. Altogether a good ‘whodunit’. Take it on holiday to wile away those lazy hours on the beach.
