What they say: For little ones setting out on their first weaning adventures, the Viners Toddler Cutlery Set is ideal for children aged 12 months+. Pretty as a picture, this three-piece set is made from 18.0 stainless steel and includes a small fork, knife and spoon, each with a contoured plastic handle that nestles perfectly into little hands. The textured back of the handle creates a safe and comfortable grip, while the smooth rounded, over sized design is easy for little ones to hold.

What we say: “The cutlery arrived in a beautiful presentation box. I immediately checked the care instructions (do they go in the dishwasher?!) and I struggled to read the back of the packaging as the writing is in white on a pastel green background (they don’t go in the dishwasher and actually recommend that you dry them immediately).

The cutlery consists of a knife, fork and spoon and are beautiful. Each one has a letter of the alphabet (lowercase a, b and c) and an animal (lion, elephant and giraffe – not related to the letters). The knife doesn’t look ergonomically correct for a left handed user (both spoon and fork are the same whether in left hand or right hand).

My little boy (age 2) loves them and he looks so grown up now he has moved away from his plastic weaning cutlery.”
