What we say: “I haven’t used a baby carrier before and had been looking into purchasing one when I was offered the chance to review this new Tula Explore – needless to say I jumped at the chance!

My son is 7 months old and very inquisitive; I knew he would enjoy being able to see the world go by as we were out and about, rather than being stuck in his buggy. I was also keen to see if the carrier would offer me more freedom; pushing a buggy can be hard work, especially on uneven ground and my husband and I have always loved making the most of our local countryside walks, would this be easier with Jake strapped onto one of us?

First things first, assembling and figuring out what strap goes where! I have to admit, I turned to YouTube for some help and between the two of us we were able to strap him in securely. The carrier feels comfortable for me and Jake appears happy too! Facing outwards is definitely a novelty for him! I’m sure after a while putting the carrier on by myself will be a breeze, but for the time being I am only using it when someone else is around to help me get into it.

We have been given the Forever design, a lovely monochrome pattern which goes with everything and is suitable for a man or woman to wear (and a boy or girl to sit in!).

The straps are thick and the waistband wide. It makes me feel very secure and walking is a breeze; Jake feels supported by the carrier and no pressure is felt on my shoulders or back.

My husband says he is very comfortable using the carrier too. I am only 5’3″ tall and he is 6’1″ and the carrier is able to be adjusted to comfortably suit us both; although quite funny when I used the carrier after my husband, Jake nearly ended up somewhere near my knees!

Having used the Tula Explore Baby Carrier for a few weeks now, I can honestly say I have no idea why I didn’t get one sooner than this! I’d say it is a ‘must have’ for any new parent and is perfect for giving you and your baby some additional freedom from your buggy!”
