Angelena Boden’s compelling novel is an emotive and gripping story of a mother’s love, and how we will do anything to know our children are safe.
What we say: “First I noticed book cover and what is written on it. The question ‘Can we ever let go of those we love?’ made me curious about the story. As I am a mum, I found this story very close to me, even my children are still small.
The author has described Birmingham so well, it was easy to imagine where the characters live and their daily life. It is well written and for me was easy to read. Sometimes I did not I understand those psychological terminus in discussions, but author made me intrigued until the book end…
As I am from different culture, I never thought about people from Muslim areas. The author opened a door for me to understand more about it and I was little bit surprised; I was very pleased with her bravery to discuss things that are shown on TV.
I recommend this book for long train rides or autumn evenings, it definitely will not disappoint!”
The Future Can’t Wait by Angelena Boden is available from many good book stores and online from Amazon.
