What they say: So Awkward Scrapbook follows the school life of Lily, Martha and Jas and their friends – teens who are trying to make sense of life, boys and fitting in, while coping with embarrassing parents and incompetent teachers.

The Scrapbook is a teen lifestyle guide, written by Lily, Martha, Jas and their school friends with some help from Mr Malone and Lily’s mum.

What we say: “So Awkward Scrapbook is based on the popular CBBC TV programme. Due to some of the content – a mix of character profiles, personality tests, relationship, exams and make up tips – I would recommend it for children 10+ years. A great book to dip in and out of, not only for fans of the show but for all tweens. My daughter loved it. An ideal Christmas present for daughters and nieces.”

Lyla’s review (age 10):
“So Awkward is a great and hilarious book. I loved reading it. It has guides on boyfriends and girlfriends, tips for the perfect party and how to survive school. It’s also got quizzes and cool games to try and spaces for you to fill in your perfect job, ideas you have and recipes. My favourite bits are the character profiles and Lily’s Guide to managing your mum! I love this book and will definitely be recommending it to all my friends.”

So Awkward Scrapbook is available from many good bookstores and online from Amazon.
