What they say: As seen in the Emmy nominated Netflix original series, Adrienne Attoms’ next mission is to use her cosmetic chemistry skills to formulate the perfect look for saving the world.
Formulate your own perfumes using cosmetic chemistry!
Now you can perform this same cool S.T.E.A.M. experiment at home using just household ingredients. Pretty brilliant!
What we say: “When I opened this set I wasn’t sure quite what I had let myself in for! My daughter was keen to give it a try…
Adult supervision is recommended and the bottles are quite fiddly so I did help out (I was also a little intrigued!). The whole set up was like a mad scientists lab, which my daughter loved! The instructions included give a step-by-step guide, both of how to set everything up and then how to actually make your perfume.
You can add your own scents, I had some vanilla extract (yes, for baking!) so we made the perfumes included and also a vanilla one.
The results were fun and my daughter loved the whole experience. Obviously the perfumes made were aimed at young children, but the main fun was in the actual setting up and making! Definitely a gift that I would recommend.”
Project Mc2 Perfume Maker costs £29.99 and is available from many toy stores and online from Amazon.
