What they say: Have you met Marge? She has rainbow hair, tells wild stories and she’s the best babysitter in the whole world. Things do SOMETIMES go off the rails when Marge is around but Jakey and Jemima don’t mind that…!
What we say:
Marge in Charge
“This book was great for my 6 year old daughter. She could read many of the words and felt quite grown up.
There are three short stories, all as entertaining as the last. The book was fun to read, kept her interested and wanting to hear what happened next. Her favourite part was when the dog got dressed up in a green dress. Marge is not your ordinary babysitter, she has many stories to tell and ingenious ways of getting things done in a fun way.
We are looking forward to reading the next book in the series…”
Marge and the Pirate Baby
“Second book in the series and again my daughter loved it. It is well written so that she looks forward to the next page to find out what happened next. Three separate stories in the book, each with lots of descriptive words allowing the reader to fully imagine being there in the story.
The three stories in this book are based around a baby who gets into mischief, we had many giggles reading about the antics of baby Zara. My daughter particularly enjoyed the last story about a wedding as she has recently been a flower girl and could relate to the characters.”
Marge and the Great Train Rescue
“We have just started on this book and it looks as entertaining as the first two!”
