What we say: “On Saturday the 8th of October 2016 my Dad, cousin, brother and I went into London to watch the famous film Mamma Mia! at the theatre. I thought that it was absolutely amazing, it was suitable for all ages and very easy to follow.
Since I was younger I’ve always loved the film and the show was very similar to it.
There were lots of people (including myself) singing along!
We were sitting in the stalls and had the best view; it wasn’t too loud and we could clearly see.
My brother Max (who isn’t really into the whole theatre thing) said “I thought it was amazing.” Also my Dad, who has never seen the film but knew all the songs from the band ABBA, was clapping along and he said that it was easy to understand what was going on.
The cast were incredible! At the end they performed a few extra songs and got everyone on their feet. The woman who played Donna (Rebecca McKinnis) was an understudy and she was unbelievable, she hit all the notes in the songs and was in character completely, in my eyes she was the perfect Donna.
The show was funny, sad and exciting, something there for everyone. It was one of the best theatre experiences EVER!!!
So in conclusion I thought that the show was amazing, nothing to complain about. I’d happily go and see it again and completely recommend it!”
