What they say:  Spend the day at school and join the little girl in everything she does in a day – from breakfast to bedtime. Meet her classmates and try to spot what each friend is up to in every lesson throughout the book. Can you guess what they want to be when they grow up? This reassuring introduction to the school day for little ones has bright, friendly artwork and is perfect for children about to go off to school for the first time.

What we say:  “My daughter is three years old and starts nursery this week so this was a great book to get the chance to review.

Initial thoughts were it looked bright, colorful and bold – just the sort of thing to attract a child to come and sit down with you to take a look. The book takes you through your typical school day starting with the journey to school to being picked up at the end of the day and everything else inbetween.

The words used keep it simple and easy to understand for a child who is just about to start on their journey through education, therefore keeping them interested and engaged in exactly what’s going on. The book however isn’t too wordy and there are lots of things going on in every picture giving you lots to talk about with your child.

All in all a good book to pick up to read with a child starting school/nursery to help make that first day feel a little less daunting for them!”
