What they say: Do you want to climb a mountain? Drive a fire engine? Become prime minister? Join the girls in the pages of this book to see the incredible things they do every day and find out what you might like to do, too! A picture book for every girl with a dream.

What we say: Mia, aged 5: “I like this book, I love seeing all the clever girls and shouting I’m fantastic.”

“Lovely book, very colourful and inspiring. My favourite is the cartoon versions of real life women of achievement.

I don’t know why but we still get very old fashioned views that filter back home, such as nurses are girls and doctors are boys, so this book helps with reinforcing the idea that girls, like boys, can and do become whatever they want in the world. Although my son, whose 8 and has an answer for everything, after reading this lovely book to the both of them, he interjects with “well girls can’t be anything they want though can they mum; like they can’t be a piece of fruit or an animal can they!?!”

Perfect for all our daughters.

I’m a girl! I’m fantastic! I’m strong, brave and proud”
