My two-year-old son was delighted when this book arrived and was eager to read it straight away. The colourful and bold design really captured him from the start, and with chunky easy to turn pages, we’ve now read this over and over again. I’ve even caught him reading the book to himself, repeatedly saying ‘say please’ ‘say thank you’.

DK has created this board book (and a whole collection) to help your child build skills ready for when they start school. The story has an interactive element and asks a few short easy to understand questions, allowing your child to join in with the story, whilst learning about manners.

I’d say this book on an educational level is perfect for 2 to 5 year olds, but also due to the vibrant pictures, my one year old also enjoyed flicking through!

I’m off to look at the rest of the DK Skills for Starting School books!

Thank you to Mojomums for sending this book for us to review.”
