What they say: Well… Diinglisar are really cool animals with dangling legs and arms that come in all sorts of shapes. Designed in Sweden, the Diinglisar and Diinglisar Wild product range are very well-known in the Nordic countries. Very few babies there do not have one of the animals in some form.
There are 8 animals in total. The Diinglisar are the Pink Cat, the Blue Mouse, the Rabbit and the Cow. Their safari friends are the Diinglisar Wild, the Lion, the Elephant, the Giraffe and the Tiger.
There is something for every age in the Diinglisar range. You don’t need to be a child to want one of these animals as they would sit well on any bed or shelf! The whole range is just fun, tactile and very desirable.
So what does “Diinglisar” mean? No idea really!!! Probably has something to do with “dingla” which means dangle in Swedish but Diinglisar is not a word that can be found in a dictionary – yet.
What I say: When I was at the baby show this year I saw a gorgeous stand by a company called TeddyKGifts. They had such fabulous things I was spoilt for choice, however I had no idea if I was having a boy or girl so was a little more limited in my choices, although I could have spent a fortune on animals, boots, comforters, bath toys etc. I brought a Giraffe comforter and matching booties and also a lion teddy.
My little girl has started to really pay attention to things now and her favourite thing is her comforter, she grabs it and holds it up to her face and stares at it for hours. I love the items I got from the stand and will be sure to visit the website to see what other bits I can get. They will be fab for gifts too.
Best bit: The fact you can get matching and co-ordinating items.
Worst bit: They are closed over august but back in September!
