dev and ollie 2

What they say:  Dev and Ollie have just arrived in India to enjoy the amazing festival of colours, Holi. But Dev doesn’t like getting mucky! Will Ollie, his bedtime magical owl, be able to change Dev’s mind?

What we say:  “I was fortunate enough to review another one of the Dev and Ollie books so my nearly 6 year old was familiar with the characters.

The first thing that we both noticed about this and the other book is how colourful the book is. This book deals with the festival of Holi and her books are based around India. It’s a great concept for kids to learn the meaning behind other religious festivals and I learnt stuff too.

Dev is the main character and his owl friend comes to life at night. They went on an adventure around India and discovered how Holi is celebrated by covering yourself and your friends in colours. Dev hates getting messy but learns to enjoy it especially when he sees what fun all the other people are having.

The book is definitely good for all ages and would recommend it.”
