The new range is perfect for those wanting to have a more varied diet, but who don’t always have the time or desire to prepare meals from scratch.
Chicken Katsu Curry and Salmon Teriyaki are amongst the new recipes, as well as vegetarian options such as Cauliflower & Paneer Curry. Featuring flavoursome, top quality ingredients, each new dish offers a delicious, convenient meal made with the same care and attention as you would at home. Packaged in distinctive pairs of octagonal wooden trays, each dish is designed for two people.
What we say: “I have had Charlie Bigham pies before (which are lovely!) so I was keen to take a look at their new range and as soon as I saw Chicken Katsu Curry I knew that was the one I was taking home!
The ease of these meals are perfect for busy parents; pop in the oven and do nothing else! They always seem like a nice adult treat meal and they look appealing, and this curry smelt delicious while cooking too…
30 minutes was all that was needed. I had initially thought that the chicken pieces were a little on the small size but they were almost butterfly folded and had cooked perfectly. The rice was extremely tasty and I loved the crunch of the edamame beans.
This certainly does not taste like a ready-made meal, but much more a home-cooked, slaved over meal! At £8.50 for two people they are not cheap, but they are delicious and tasty and yes, I will be buying again!”
