What they say:  Learn the alphabet and practice writing letters with Chalkboard Alphabet!

This adorable write-and-wipe book features reuseable “chalkboard” pages and four pieces of chalk which are perfectly sized for little ones’ fingers. Each page features letters used in a sentence, for example, “Alligator rides a bicycle.”

Space is provided to practice the letters, alongside colorful illustrations by beloved children’s illustrator Stephen Barker. Pages wipe clean easily, to enjoy again and again.

What we say:  “The Chalkboard Alphabet is a beautiful book for young children to learn how to write both upper and lower case letters. The book is well made and would be a lovely present.

I really liked the idea of using chalkboard, it gave the book a nice traditional feel but with a modern twist.

Each page has a colourful and fun illustration using words starting with both the letters of that page (ie Alligator rides a Bicycle). The letters are written between lines giving the child additional guidance for how to write the different cases of the letter.

There is also a spare page at the back of the book where the child has more space to practice their alphabet.

The only thing that my daughter struggled with was the size of the letters and the chalk. It would have been easier for her to have a chalk pen or pencil instead so that she could stick between the lines with more ease. She found it a bit clumsy. I am going to get some so that she can use this lovely book more easily.”

Chalkboard Alphabet is available from many good bookstores and online from Amazon.
