OVERVIEW OF EXPERIENCE:

Overall mark out of 10 (1 being the worst and 10 the best): 10/10

What did you enjoy most about the day?

We had a brilliant day out at the Brooklyn Bowl.  We travelled by train to the O2 which is a really easy journey from Watford was just taking under an hour.

We arrived the Brooklyn bowl and met by a friendly host Vincent who welcomed us to the Bowl.   Vincent asked us our shoe size and then showed us to our Lanes.

We were really impressed with the luxurious surroundings with leather sofas, projectors in front of the lane showing movies tailored to the audience (in our case Toy Story and the football for the Boys).

After sitting on the sumptuous leather sofa our shoes were brought over to us so that we could sit comfortably to change our shoes – a great touch.

The service was impeccable with a dedicated host helping us to select food and set up the bowling lanes for our family.

The difference we felt about Brooklyn Bowl is that you can enjoy high quality food and drink whilst enjoying Bowling.

Brian the Manager informed me that the Bowl also has live bands appearing at weekends with a DJ in the evening.

The atmosphere was warm from the staff and the other guests and we had a fantastic time.

What did your kids enjoy most about the day?

The Kids loved the bowling experience and feeling very grown up.  Brooklyn Bowl would be perfect for children’s parties even Jessica (3 years old) was able to join in as the owl had a special shoot for younger children.

What didn’t you or your kids enjoy?

We enjoyed the whole experience.

If you could make one suggestion to the attraction to enhance your experience what would it be?

A children’s menu and activity pack would be a good  to help keep the kids entertained.

Was there enough to do for a whole day, or is it more of a morning or afternoon event?

It was approximately 2 hours long, but we did make more of a day of it with the journey, looking round the 02 and enjoying a coffee outside in the sunshine.

Any other comments that you would like to share?

We had an amazing time everyone in the party had a great time including my husband who is hard to please.  Brooklyn Bowl appeals to all ages and has a luxurious feel to it and customers are made to feel like a VIP.

The venue is so versatile you can attend with family, friends and even entertain clients.

MAIN ATTRACTION

Overall mark out of 10 (1 being the worst and 10 the best): 9/10

Is the attraction easy to find/well signposted around local area?

Yes well signposted and easy to fine.

Is the attraction easy to navigate around once you are inside?

Yes very easy to get round.

Is there room to easily wheel a buggy (single, double or triple around)?

Absolutely plenty of room and access to a ramp for a buggy.

In your opinion is the attraction suitable for children of different ages regardless of the age restrictions advised by the attraction itself

What is there for 0-2 year olds? The venue does not really cater for under 2 years old however they would be able to join in.

What is there for 3 – 6 year olds?  Great age to join in but will needs parents help.

What is there for 6- 12 year olds? 6-12 years old would be able to bowl independently and would enjoy the overall experience.   This venue would also appeal to teenagers as the venue is up and coming and has a great vibe.

What additional costs are they when you are in the attraction?

There are restaurants and bars to buy from.

What day of the week are you visiting the attraction?

Sunday

Do you find the volume of people at the attraction acceptable (i.e. to busy, empty, comfortable) and what is busiest time of the day?

It was busy but still had plenty of space and privacy.

What is the average price range for items in the gift/souvenir shop?

I don’t think they have a gift shop.

Are there any special deals or discounts?

On Monday’s it is now free to bowl at Brooklyn Bowl – under 18’s can bowl until 7pm. Depending on how busy it is you may only be given a lane for 60 mins (enough for a game or two), and groups must be 4 or more.

Overall mark out of 10 (1 being the worst and 10 the best): 10/10

Would you recommend the restaurant/refreshment facilities? What was there to eat for you and the kids?

Yes there is something for everyone at the Brooklyn Bowl.  We really enjoyed the chicken platter with honey.

Was the food reasonable priced? What did you and the kids end up eating there?

Food and drink in the restaurants were average prices.  We ended up eating chicken platters, chips, and pitta perfect for everyone.  It would be good to have had a children’s menu.

Can you feed the baby there and are there facilities to heat baby food (e.g. microwave and bottle warmer)?

Yes in the restaurant or you can ask a server to heat up for you.
