What they say:  Family is at the heart of Italian living and ASK Italian is embracing family mealtimes in their mission to get everyone, from grown-ups to little ones, to eat like Italians. With lots of interactive options, the nationwide restaurant chain’s kids menu gets children excited about their food choices and will keep them happy whilst the grown-ups relax and enjoy themselves too!

The menu encourages kids to choose their favourite pasta shape, including ASK Italian’s new cartwheel pasta, and add one of four sauce options from Tasty Tomato, Brilliant Bolognese, Creamy Cheese and Perfect Pesto. Kids who like to play with their food will love the new ‘dip & dunk’ pasta, which lets little ones dip their pasta into tasty tomato sauce then dunk into grated cheese. It even counts as one of their five a day!

Pizza-loving little ones can choose two toppings to go with their tomato and cheese base, including pepperoni, chicken breast, ham, roasted peppers and olives. There are non-gluten containing pizza and pasta options or kids can order from their very own vegan menu.

And of course a menu at ASK Italian wouldn’t be complete without exciting desserts; children can build their own ‘Tip & Top Ice Cream’, already a popular treat at ASK Italian, with their flavour of gelato and sauce, and fun toppings such as meringue, strawberries, marshmallows and sprinkles. For a real treat, kids can opt for the ‘Chocolate Pizza’; a sweet dough topped with ‘choconut’ sauce and strawberries, with mini marshmallows and sprinkles to decorate as they like!

ASK Italian recognise that the little things can make a family meal enjoyable, from offering a hand with highchairs to serving the little ones’ food first. Really little guests who aren’t ready for a 3 course meal can tuck into miniature bread sticks and tomato dip to start and follow with a choice of penne or cartwheel pasta with butter or tomato sauce for a delicious mini main.

ASK Italian will also be partnering with Where’s Wally? between 24th July – 3rd September to celebrate Wally’s 30th birthday. They will be giving out a special Where’s Wally? activity pack with every kids menu throughout this period.

What we say:  “I am going to let the pictures do most of the talking in this review…!!!

The Where’s Wally menu kept the kids entertained while we were waiting for the food…

Garlic bread, cucumbers and dip went down nicely as the first course…

The pizza didn’t last long!

…the chocolate dessert pizza lasted even less time!

Ice cream gets the thumbs up too!

Babycinnos all round to finish a wonderful meal.

ASK Italian really do offer a great experience for families – don’t just take my word for it, book a table at your nearest restaurant today!”
