Lamb Kofta Kebabs

These can be great for parties, starters or even main course
900g Lean Minced lamb
2 onions finely chopped
15g fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
25g coriander, finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp chilli paste
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp parprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp salt
4 tbsp vegetable oil
8 skewers

Lamb koftas

  1. Mix together lamb, onions, mint, coriander, ginger and chilli.  Add cumin coriander, paprika, cayenne and salt.  Put in the fridge to chill for 2 hours.
  2. Shape into 8 sausages around the skewers, refrigerate until ready to cook.
  3. Brush generously with the oil and BBQ or Grill for 10 minutes turning as needed.
  4. Serve with Tzatziki and pitta.
