Francesca Morgan is a maverick art dealer based in South Kensington, whose family business makes money selling high-quality forgeries to private collectors in New York. Aleksei Veksler is a ruthless investment banker and serial womaniser who is amassing a fine art and historical weapons collection at his Chelsea mansion. When his bloodthirsty actions impact one of Francesca’s illicit deals, she decides to make him pay, but after he discovers he’s bought a fake, he demands violent retribution. Francesca’s life turns into a labyrinth of deception involving a search for Nazi-looted art, while a growing trail of related murders seems impossible to avoid.

Good solid, believable characters, unusual plot. The  author wove an intricate story of cat and mouse chases in the art world. An unputdownable thriller that I enjoyed immensely.
A family of art forgers try to pull off the ultimate sting however, they choose the wrong man to dupe; with kidnapping, forgery and double dealing this is a great book for your hols. I would rate it 3 stars.
