Visiting Russia in June is also great because you get to visit the majestic Petropavlovsk in Kamchatka. Petropavlovsk is located on the Kamchatka peninsula and every summer many tourists come here to catch a glimpse of the surrounding areas. Petropavlovsk has been gradually turned into an ecotourism region where recreational activities such as volcano and mountain hiking, hunting trips, kayaking, fishing and sailing trips are offered. There is a small hotel in Kamchatka called Nachalnik Kamchatka which is nature themed and prepares Kamchatka crabs and seafood delicacies.
