What’s That? Can You? My Day and How Many? Are a delightful set of books covering a lot of firsts. With a simple structure, lots of colourful pictures, nice thick hard pages and beautiful rhyming text these books are a brilliant edition to your child’s bookshelf.
What’s That? Has tabbed pages with scenes from a farm, park, house, shops and road with lots of pictures to find, by simply asking your child to find the banana, cat or bike they will start to learn the words, or asking them to find certain coloured objects to keep them entertained.
Can You? Is a touch and feel book, my baby boy loves stroking the cat! By asking your child if they can do something, eventually the answer will be yes!
My Day gently takes you through the little boy’s day, from getting dressed to going to bed. With items to find and a gentle reminder to tidy up, this book helps the little ones to learn names of everyday items and has a pleasant humour to it.
How Many? Helps you count from 1 to 5, finding different baby animals going about their daily business, with tabbed pages and sweet illustrations, I really liked this.
All the books are enjoyable and quick to read, through simple repetition to slightly harder finding objects and asking questions these books are brilliant for babies to very young children. As an adult I found them very pleasing and as a baby my little boy found them very tactile and chewable bless him, with the mix tabbed pages and the touch and feel they make a very nice series that will stand up to the wear and tear subjected to them by little hands.
