‘Tis the season to be…generous…

While at work this week, an office-worker from a fellow company within our building popped in with cakes and pastries for sale – the whole of the Mojomums team were at the front of the queue before you could say ‘chocolate’!!!

While waiting for our calorie-laden goodies, we were told by the cake-maker Jade, that she had baked to raise money for a friends little girl who has recently been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

Rosie-May

Four year old Rosie-May is being treated with chemotherapy and her friends and family want to raise as much money as possible to be able to help ease her parents of financial worries during this stressful time – we all know that Christmas is an expensive time of year for many of us, without the added concerns of time off work, often unpaid, and travel costs to and from hospital, while looking after a sick child.

Jade made a whooping ¬£250 from selling cakes that day and Rosie-May, although we have never met her, has touched the hearts of the Mojomums team – give your little one an extra kiss and cuddle, be thankful for good health and if at all possible, give a little extra to someone in need this festive season…

What a lovely thing for Jade to do. I’m so pleased that she raised so much money for Rosie-May’s family!
