Did the question “What do you want to be when you’re grown up?” cause you sleepless nights and haunt your nightmares throughout your academic life? Have you actually ended up with your dream job or are you wishing you had different career advice when you were younger?
If you are looking to further your skills and head back to college then take a look at the government-backed Advanced Learning Loan. This loan is aimed at learners, aged 24 and over, to help them pay college or a training organisation fee. With this loan, there’s no credit check, it doesn’t depend on your household income and you will only have to start paying back once you’re finished the course or are earning over £25,000 a year.
These loans cover tuition fees for a range of Level 3 to Level 6 courses including:
- General and vocational qualifications.
- Access to Higher Education diplomas.
Advanced Learner Loans are only available for study at a training provider or college in England. You can apply for up to four loans which are paid directly to your college or training provider.
Mojomums thinks this is a great initiative and with minimum loans given of £300, you may soon be heading along the career path that you wish you had known about all those years ago…
